Helmut Schmidt University has acquired a two-node Cerebras CS-3 system. This is a cutting-edge AI-focused supercomputer, designed for HPC applications, ML training, and using large language models. This system is powered by Cerebras’ third-generation Wafer Scale Engines, delivering an FP16 ‘AI compute’ of 125 PFLOP/s through 900 000 for sparse linear algebra optimized compute cores and utilizing 44 GB on-chip SRAM per CS-3.
