This repository contains the Open Educational Resource (OER) “HPC Workshop 3 - Module Systems and Slurm Jobs” [https://portal.hpc.hsu-hh.de/training/hpc_workshop_3/].
The material has been developed using the Adapt Authoring Tool [https://www.adaptlearning.org] and is intended for reuse, adaptation, and further development in educational contexts.

     → The full course structure created with Adapt
Training Tasks
     → Exercises and task files used within the course
This README file
     → Instructions on how to use and adapt the material

How to Use the Adapt Course Material

To view and edit the course, you need to install and run the Adapt Authoring Tool.

Step 1: Install Adapt Authoring Tool

Download and install the software from:
https://www.adaptlearning.org

Adapt requires a local or hosted environment (e.g., Node.js-based setup or server deployment).

Step 2: Set Up and Run Adapt

After installation:

Start the Adapt Authoring Tool
Access the web interface via your browser (usually http://localhost)

Step 3: Import the Course
Navigate to the dashboard
Use the “Import Course” function
Upload the provided Adapt ZIP export

Once imported, the course can be:

Viewed
Edited
Extended
Re-exported

Notes on the Training Tasks

The included training tasks consist of various file formats and are designed to be used within the HSUper environment.

Some tasks may not be fully usable outside of HSUper
Execution and interaction may depend on system-specific configurations
For full functionality, access to an HSUper instance is recommended
